Scripting is a way in which the functionality of SyncBackPro can be changed or extended. Scripts are distinct from the core code of the application, which is written in a different language. It lets you define multiple scheduled backup jobs so you can just set 'em and forget 'em, allowing users to create specific backup jobs for certain folders or file types. SyncBackPro allows the user to configure the program and profiles using their own scripts. Recovering from a drive loss is also cinch, with a convenient restore tool that replicates folder trees along with the files in them. Surprisingly flexible for a free program, SyncBack can save your files anywhere: on external hard drives, in ZIP archives, on network drives, on CDs (using UDF), or transfer them via FTP.
